Vancouver Sharks Rugby began in Southwest Washington in 1999 with a small group of dedicated students from Hudson's Bay. From that meager first season, Rugby Oregon has grown into a 25+ team u19 rugby league. There has been an explosion of rugby in the area and its popularity is growing continuously. Recently, Vancouver Rugby Club has grown with the addition of a full Mens side and will continue to expand with a U19 Girls and Women's team. The level of rugby has increased dramatically and now, teams from our league compete and win at a regional and national level.
